immurement
the crypt gallery

This exhibition was signifficant for me in learning how to make physical implications of the space work in my favour enhancing the impact of the installation.
The crypt had a lot of corridors and individual rooms, meaning that it was difficult to move however also these parameters worked well for the `collection` of the aroma in one area.
I got to experiment more with the placement of the installation then usual moving it around the corridors from one end of the entire space to the other. The corridor I found did not work as there was too much interraction with the other sound pieces, so opted for a secluded room.
I have learned that a space with curtains was great for collecting the aroma by closing the curtains first and opening them just before the exhibition day started
The fact that the piece had wheels was very handy for such a large space where you can not move much in order to carry something. Also, the fact that clothes rack could be partly compacted due to consisting of several parts was very practical for transportation.

The aroma around most of the space could be described as mouldy and that i have learned makes any other aroma more refreshing and unanticipated which added to the effect of it.
